A little information about Albert
Einstein (review from several sources)
Albert
Einstein was a leading theoretical physicist, Nobel laureate. The most
important figure he is considered the most intelligent and influential in the
history of mankind.
Here
are some interesting facts and information about Albert Einstein:
Born in Germany
Albert
Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, which lies in the Kingdom of
Wurttemberg, now the state of Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany.
While
still a primary school student, Einstein showed a natural aptitude for
mathematics.
Inspired by compass
At
the early age of five years, Einstein was inspired by a compass. He watched his
father carried a pocket compass and realized that the compass needle always
points in the same direction.
This
made him think of a force that
causes a compass indicating the direction of the same
Married twice
In
1903, Albert Einstein was married to Mileva Maric, a teacher of the title,
which later became part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, now in Serbia.
Mileva
believed to contribute significantly to Einstein's work. They divorced in 1919,
Einstein later married his cousin, Elsa Lowenthal, after ending his
relationship with Mileva.
Several important works
While
working at the patent office in 1905, Albert Einstein published several
important works in the German physics journal Annalen der Physik named. He put
forth the idea of the particle nature of light.
Einstein
during the same time period published a paper On the Electrodynamics of Moving
Objects.
In
the same year, in his paper on the equivalence of mass and energy, he proposes
that mass can be converted into the equivalent amount of energy by the equation
E = mc2.
Theory of Relativity
In
his paper, Critical Opalescence, which was written in 1910, Einstein discussed
the effect of light scattered by different molecules in the atmosphere.
In
his paper in 1909, Einstein introduced the concept of a photon by suggesting
that defines the momentum and energy quanta as point particles.
In
1911, when it became a professor at the Charles University Prague, Einstein
published his work about the effects of gravity on light.
A
solar eclipse that occurred a few years later, to prove his theory that light
bends around a massive object like the sun.
In
1915, Einstein's Theory of Relativity were filed still used today.
Wins Nobel Prize
Albert
Einstein was a winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics for his contribution in the
discovery law Photoelectric Effect.
Ironically,
he did not receive the Nobel Prize for his Theory of Relativity.
Wrote a letter to President Roosevelt
Physicist
Leo Szilard managed to convince Einstein to write a letter to United States
President Roosevelt, warned about the possibility of developing an atomic bomb
NAZI.
The
letter is believed to encourage the United States to make an atomic bomb.
His brain is examined after death
Albert
Einstein died in Princeton, New Jersey, USA, on 18 April 1955 at the age of 76.
Before cremated, his brain was taken and then examined to discover the secret
of Einstein's intelligence remarkable.
The
results showed Einstein's brain contained more glial cells that are responsible
for the synthesis of information.
It
was also found that Einstein's brain is more dense and has a relatively large
parietal lobe associated with mathematical ability.
